Consulting

I offer in-salon trainings and workshops. From apprentice/beginner to advanced trainings, I will work with you and your team in your space, with your familiar tools, at the appropriate level to hone the skills you wish to develop. To keep it intimate, each class should have no more than six students. I am also available for one-on-one training and mentoring sessions.

Technical

• Design your own course:

  Let’s talk and design a course specifically for your salons needs. Or get together with a few friends and lets have a “Creative Day”. I have long hair mannequins and tripod stands we can play with.

• Beginner Cutting Program: Fast Track:

  Takes you through all the basic development of haircutting skills, starting with one length, working through layering and graduation, and finally perfecting the art of texturizing.

• Advanced Cutting:

  Individualized focus on block graduation, dry cutting methods, and corrective cutting techniques. Includes breakdown of results-oriented texturizing techniques for better blending.

• Men’s Haircutting:

  Scissor over comb workshop and practice. Learning shorter, stronger shapes for guys. Lots of tips on building a great men’s clientele.

• Long Hairdressing:

  I share Fashion Week techniques for blow drying, curling iron work, and proper brushing and finishing. We will braid and back comb, and learn some great modern updates to wedding work.

• Beginner Color Program: Fast Track:

  Takes you through all the basic development of coloring skills including cleanliness in application, speed, and understanding the level system. A strong understanding of how to work with or neutralize underlying pigment.

• Advanced Color Program:

  Classic and modern highlighting techniques. Maintaining root shadow while softening grow out. Bleaching and toning. Fashion colors. This course can also include modern bohemian permanent wave techniques.

As the owner of a thriving San Francisco salon for 17 years, I have extensive experience in the day-to-day operations and business planning to grow a successful business while keeping work fun. I will help you streamline processes, optimize workflows, and help you shape the culture and vibe you want to cultivate in your salon.
